Simon Coveney, the minister for housing, planning and local government, is abolishing a scheme of self-regulation for tyre makers and the motor industry. Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, Mr Alan Kelly, T.D., has today (25 September, 2015) responded to spurious allegations made by the Tyre Industry.
